Bob Livingston

Bob Livingston is a founding father of Texas music.  As a Cosmic Cowboy and member of the Lost Gonzo Band, Livingston played with Ray Wylie Hubbard, Michael Martin Murphey, and Jerry Jeff Walker.  He helped blaze the trail that would produce a sound to define Texas music and brand Austin as the Live Music Capital of the World.

Livingston's achievements did not stop at the Texas border.  He went on to become an ambassador for American music on tours sponsored by the U.S. State Department.  In this role, he has toured over 25 countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.  Continuing to bridge cultures through music, Livingston founded an organization, Texas Music International, which fuses Native American, Texas Folk, and Indian themes.  A tireless performer, songwriter, ambassador, and visionary, Livingston is undeniably a Texas treasure.
